General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Dr. Mohammed Sanusi believes the newly appointed head coach of the Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum will take Nigeria’s women’s football to another level.
Recall that on Wednesday, Waldrum formally signed his contract with the NFF as he begins work with the Super Falcons.
The Super Falcons are in Turkey to compete in The Turkish Women’s Cup Tournament, also known as the Alanya Gold City Cup. It is Waldrum’s first assignment with the reigning African champions.
According to Sanusi, he says the football body believes he’s capable of getting the job done better for the team.
“It was not a target per say but we told him what we have achieved and we expect that he will surpass the record that we have achieved so far. I have no doubt in my mind that he is capable because I want to believe that he will do better. He was interested in making sure he gets engaged officially before he starts work.”
