Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen will be seeking to extend his goal-scoring as Napoli visit Torino in tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico Grande.
The Nigerian international netted a goal in the team’s 5-2 whitewash of Lazio last week Thursday after replacing Dries Mertens in the 72nd minute.
The strike was Osimhen’s third goal in his last five league appearances and he appears to have rediscovered his goalscoring touch after enduring a nine-match goal drought earlier this year.
The 22-year-old has now scored six goals after 18 appearances in his debut, Serie, A campaign following his big-money move from Ligue 1 club Lille last August.
Napoli coach, Gennaro Gattuso will be banking on Osimhen’s goal-scoring prowess to help the team overcome a Torino side that is fighting to avoid the drop.
