Delta LG polls: Oborevwori, Isiovwa vote, say victory is sure

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Isaiah Isiovwa, today cast their votes shortly after accreditation at Unit 9, Ward 6 in Osubi community in Uvwie Local Government Area.

In a chat with newsmen, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori said the election process in the area was peaceful.

He added that Hon. Isaiah Isiovwa is an acceptable candidate in Osubi community.

According to Oborevwori,”Everybody accepts the candidature of Hon. Isaiah Isiovwa. We see him as a good candidate.”

The Speaker expressed confidence that victory is sure for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Okpe Local Government Area.

The PDP Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Isaiah Isiovwa who thanked God Almighty for the success of the election said, “The crowd here are ready to vote. More are still coming.”
