
The Catalyst Movement today visited the Gwom Rwey Kuru, His Royal Highness Da Patrick Mandung to console with him and the people of Kuru District over the attack on miners that left 8 (eight) dead.
Leader of the delegation and Convener of the group, Engr. Dachomo Chayi who was flanked by other members were received by the Royal Father described the sad event as man inhumanity to fellow men.
He said the unprovoked killings were inhuman, wicked, irrational and callous.
“The killings are senseless, irrational and condemnable,” he said.
He said no one has the right to take the life of another human being.
He called on the government to be more proactive and swing into action to ensure the perpetrators are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.
“The way these killers attack and kill innocent persons with impunity and at the end no arrest is made is disturbing” Engr. Chayi posited.
He charged the government at all levels and the security operatives to rise up to their cardinal mandate of protecting the lives and property of the citizens.
He said the security agencies must do more in intelligence gathering and be more strategic to deal with the monstrous Killers.
He said as Youths, they were at the Palace to say enough is enough.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of those killed by the aggressors.
The Royal Father, Da Patrick Mandung appreciated them for the solidarity visit saying it has strengthened them.
He urged the people to avoid those things that will expose them, be vigilant and security conscious at all times.
